Acrylic overlays and extensions

Nail extensions are when a lightweight plastic tip is glued onto the natural nail plate to add length. Acrylic mixture is then applied on top of the plastic extension and is usually 'cured' in order to secure the extension and add strength and shine.

UV gel overlays and extensions

The gel is usually applied in very fine layers, with the nail technician usually ‘curing’ or ‘sealing’ the gel with UV light, between gel layers , leaving the nail flexible and with a natural looking glossy finish which is, both, instantly dry and chip resistant.
